Matt Lauer terminated from NBC after alleged 'inappropriate sexual behavior'
Matt Lauer has been terminated from NBC News for alleged "inappropriate sexual behavior in the workplace," per a statement from NBC News' chairman Andrew Lack that was read on the Today show Wednesday morning by Lauer's former co-host, Savannah Guthrie (sitting alongside Hoda Kotb).
The statement, following a report by an unnamed colleague, noted that while this was the first time someone had come forward about alleged inappropriate behavior by Lauer, they have "reason to believe this might not have been an isolated incident."
