When Cardi's forever bop "Bodak Yellow" came out in 2017, it was quickly adopted as an anthem for unapologetically celebrating yourself and fully enjoying the rewards of your hard work. The song was the first sign of Cardi's "fairy-tale come-up," as The Ringer called it, and through her lyrics, Cardi taught us that it's okay to embrace your success, stunt on the haters, and tell everyone that tried to hold you back: "LOOK AT ME NOW."
