Bad news: Verizon will not offer replacements of the Samsung Note7
Verizon will stop replacing Samsung Galaxy Note7 devices for its customers in the U.S., it announced late on Sunday.
The company joins two other phone providers in the country, T-Mobile and AT&T, all of whom announced the disappointing news to Note7 fans on the same day.
According to The Verge, Verizon said it is instead offering to trade other phones, if Note7 owners are concerned about the safety of their devices.
No Note7 news from Verizon or Sprint, but I would not be surprised if we see similar statements from them tomorrow. This phone is toast.
