Rich Chinese Men are Touring Russia to Find White-Skinned, Blue-Eyed Wives

With a disproportionate amount of females in their home country, affluent Chinese men have taken the liberty to visit Russia in hopes of meeting beautiful women to marry.

These men reportedly pay thousands to participate in so-called “wife tours,” according to Daily Mail.

Recently, five Chinese bachelors attended a meet-up in Novosibirsk, Russia’s third-largest city. The session was arranged by Elena Suvorova, head of a marriage agency called OSD Center.

The bachelors, aged 25 to 46, came all the way from Beijing, Hong Kong, Shanghai and Shenzhen.

Suvorova’s agency organized the first singles’ tour last year, where six men and 25 women gathered. She told the Siberian Times:

“For them, a Russian woman is like a present. Men want to get married, and are committed for serious relationships.”

But of course, they have standards. The OSD Center head added:

“All the girls who we invited are under 35-years-old. Initially, the men want to see brides with white skin and blue eyes. Funnily enough though, last year the girls who got into a relationship were brunettes with brown eyes.”

China and Russia have opposite demographics in terms of sex. The former has 120 men for every 100 women, while the latter has 100 women for every 85 men.

Suvorova praised Chinese men for respecting women:

“Chinese men treat women with respect. It is important for them that the woman is moderate, natural, calm, smiling, and not competing with the man.”

The sex disparity in China has allegedly rooted from the country’s infamous one-child policy, which was lifted back in October.

In the meantime, Suvorova’s business looks good, as these bachelors were “quite successful” in achieving their goals.
