While the KingDian brand doesn't carry as much weight as the likes of SanDisk or Toshiba, they're easily the cheapest option this week -by £10- for a 240GB Solid State Drive.

If you know you're going to need some extra space for games or movies, we'd recommend this deal over the smaller SSD above.

Crucial MX300 275GB SATA SSD | Now £63.04 | Amazon

240GB not enough but you really need to keep the cost down? £62.98 isn't much more expensive and is the best price around for a drive of this size.

Toshiba Q300 480GB 2.5 inch SSD | Now £94.98 | Amazon

This is the cheapest option for a 480GB SSD, beating the next best deal by at least £10. Prices have been going up on most drives in recent weeks, so this one may sell out fast. £95 for a 480GB SSD is not to be missed. Or you can double up with the 960GB offer below.

Samsung 850 EVO 500 GB 2.5 inch Solid State Drive | Now £139.99 | Amazon

If you really need that extra 20GB to bump up your SSD to a nice round 500GB, then this is your cheapest option. Amazon's latest deal comfortably the cheapest price around.

SanDisk Ultra II 960GB 2.5-inch SSD | Now £189.99 | eBay

A tenner cheaper this week than the next best deal and with other drives of this size going for over £200, this is the one to go for if you need something sooner rather than later.

3.5-inch PC hard drive deals

Seagate Barracuda 2TB 3.5-inch Hard Drive | Now £60.98 | Novatech

With most retailers charging over £70, this cheap internal drive is well worth a look if you're wanting to upgrade the capacity on an older PC.

Toshiba P300 3TB 7200RPM 3.5-inch Hard Drive | Now £69.99 | Amazon

The price for this 3TB drive is impressive enough, but the increased 7200RPM speed is another big selling point too.

Seagate ST4000DM000 4TB 3.5-inch Hard Drive | Now £114.98 | Novatech

This is one of the cheapest 4TB PC hard drives we've seen for a while and should provide enough space for most users. Most other drives of this size start at about £135.

Toshiba X300 5TB 3.5-inch Extreme-Performance Hard Drive | Now £143.99 | ebuyer

This speedy 7200RPM hard drive is excellent value if you're looking for a large 5TB capacity. If you need something that big though, maybe we can tempt you with the 6TB drive below for an extra £28?

6TB seems to mark the line in the sand, with any larger drives costing disproportionately more than we feel is reasonable. If you need more than 6TB, we'd advise waiting for prices to drop.

This is even cheaper than last week, and still one of the cheapest 1TB external drives around. Take your pick between this and the Amazon deal below.

A great price for a portable drive with 1TB of space. This is currently the very cheapest 1TB option in our internal hard drive deals guide.

Transcend 1TB Military-Grade Shock Resistance Portable Hard Drive | Now £55.99 | Amazon

This 1TB USB 3.0 external drive is a bit pricier than the offers posted above, but it's able to withstand clumsy drops or getting bashed about a bit. If you need something that's going to travel with you a lot, this is certainly one to consider.

Maxtor M3 2TB USB 3.0 Slimline Portable Hard Drive | Now £61.49 | Amazon

We haven't had a decent 2TB deal in while as the prices have been way too close to the 1TB or 3TB options. At £64.98 though, this 2TB hard drive deal sits nicely between the other sizes.

Toshiba 4TB StorE Canvio Desktop Hard Drive | Now £89.99 | ebuyer

This 4TB drive is a tenner cheaper than Amazon's cheapest 4TB external hard drive and features a more stylish design (well, as external hard drive chassis go at least).

Seagate Expansion 4TB Desktop USB 3.0 exteranl hard drive | Now £99.99 | Argos

This Seagate offer from Argos is your next best option for a 4TB external hard drive, especially as Amazon's offer for a similar drive last week has shot up by £10. This really should be plenty of space unless you're storing a lot of media files.

Toshiba 5TB Canvio Desktop Hard Drive | Now £104.86 | ebuyer

So you need a lot of space, huh? Toshiba make reliable drives and keep them cheap while they're at it, making them a regular in these parts. We;re especially fond of the whopping £28 discount today too!

Samsung 6TB D3 Station External Hard Drive | Now £159.99 | ebuyer

This USB 3.0 drive is one of the largest external drives out there and is nearly £25 cheaper this week.

Seagate Backup Plus 8TB USB 3.0 Desktop 3.5 inch External Hard Drive | Now £199.99 | Argos

The 8TB drives seem to be the cutoff point before the ridiculously expensive 10TB drives, and this is the best deal we can find. £200 might sound pricey, but considering the best price for a 10TB external drive is nearly £500, we think this is pretty good.
