It’s 2014, and this Canadian mom, Shanell, is on a flight. Her 3-year-old daughter, Kate, happens to be very “active.” Shanell knew how much of a trouble the flight from Florida to Philadelphia could give her.She prayed for a nice person to take the next seat; someone who understood kids.  Were her prayers answered? Soon enough, a man walks on the aisle. He’s carrying papers – looks like a rich guy with contracts to sign or something. He stops at their seat and fills the next vacancy. Shanell holds her breath. Trouble is coming! It came. Kate started talking, even referring to the stranger as daddy. She even wanted the “daddy” to hold her. Kate has autism. Well much to her pleasant surprise, the guy, Eric, stuffed away his papers and concentrated on Kate the entire flight. She talked to her about all and everything!
