These Canadian Firefighters Used Axes To Free A Moose From A Frozen River
How to get a moose loose.
Axe-wielding firefighters in New Brunswick braved a frigid river to save a moose stuck in the ice.
Shediac’s fire department got a call about an adult female stuck 25 to 30 feet from shore, according to Global News.
The moose was unable to free herself, so several firefighters — with assistance from the RCMP the Natural Resources department — started chopping.
Videos show the poor thing trying to hoist itself out of the water, with no luck.
