Family Doctor Warns Parents To Stop Trying To Befriend Their Children

This video hits the nail on the head regarding what is wrong with the children of today. Young kids are now being given cell phones and are being treated like adults by their parents. Instead of telling a child they have to eat their vegetables before they get dessert, parents are now forming a question and asking them would they be willing to eat a few bites and then they can have dessert. This doctor warns parents to stop trying to be friends with their children and be their parent. Dr. Leonard Sax recently visited CBS This Morning to discuss his book, “The Collapse of Parenting.” He is arguing that too many parents allow their kids to run things and it is harming them. He hopes parents will wake up and start being parents instead of friends with their children.
