Military veterans have always had each other’s backs. We’ve come across many stories of some of them helping others, and it’s nice! But NuraFountano took all that to another level when she entered a competition on Veterans Week in November 2015. All the contestants were veterans, and they needed the money. Nura had a plan! She was leading as the contest entered its final round, but then she threw her trump card. Nura would throw the wrong letter to mess up the winning phrase, “Following Footprints,” and hervet friends would cash in on it. She kept yelling out “Z,” and it worked!
