Top 10 Most Memorable Bond Girls
James Bond is known for many things. He’s British, he changes his appearance every four movies or so, he likes his alcohol, and he’s also fairly fond of women. Almost as important as the plot in any Bond movie is the girl to support the plot. Is she a love interest secretly working for the enemy? Is she a fellow spy? Do we care? All these questions keep us sitting on the edge of our seats.
While the Bond girls have surely been far more diverse than the Bond actors, there’s a few that stand out more than others. What is it about them? They have depth to their character, more importance to the plot, better dialogue, better acting…you name it. They also have a tendency to appear with very few clothing items. I guess they live in a good climate.
It’s no use denying every Bond girl has been unique in her own way, but let’s take a look at some of the most memorable ones we’ve seen so far – in chronological order.
Ursula Andress as Honey (Honeychile) Ryder
This one dates all the way back to the legendary Dr. No movie.
Daniela Bianchi as Tatiana Romanova
A Russian Bond girl in the ‘60s? Damn Hollywood, you crazy!
Diana Rigg as Teresa di Vicenzo
Back in 1969, Diana pretty much captivated every scene she was in with her natural presence.
Britt Ekland as Mary Goodnight
Good night indeed!
