Adam was born with severe deformities. He had no eyelids; a cleft palate, nohands, and his legs were intertwined. Adam’s mom left the boy at the hospital. Fortunately, a newlywed couple was working at the hospital where Adam was born and abandoned. When they heard about the boy, they wanted to adopt him despite the warning that he may not live for long. Adam is now part of the Paulraj family. Adam has undergone several surgeries to create his eyelids and cleft palate. He will need several surgeries down the line. Adam is a happy child with two younger siblings.
