Bride bucks bridal shower norms for a party with her male friends

As one of four women in a class of 60, Brazilian computer engineering student Rebeca Brantes didn't know how to have the bridal shower she dreamed of because her friends were mostly men. 

But since gendering a simple wedding party tradition is a bit silly anyways, Brantes decided to invite her pals along to be bridesmales and the resulting photographs are hilarious and stunning.

“I came up with the idea one week before the wedding," Brantes told Bored Panda. "I was looking into some “making of” pictures of brides with their gang of girls, all in robes, laughing, drinking champagne and all, and I got a bit sad because I wouldn’t be able to do anything like that.” Read more...
