Newly-crowned Miss USA lit a flame war talking about healthcare and feminism

Wait, so a country that's been intensely divided for months now can't come to an agreement on the new Miss USA? Sounds about right.

Miss District of Colombia, AKA Kara McCullough, won the coveted Miss USA 2017 crown Sunday night and was immediately greeted with... mixed reviews.

 A government chemist and woman of color, people were originally really excited to see her compete and make it into the top 10.
