Uber just launched a brand new app aimed to help truckers
Uber is expanding its ride-sharing service with a brand new app that hopes to make life easier for truck drivers.
The company launched Uber Freight on Thursday, and as you probably guessed, it's essentially Uber, but for trucking.
In a blog post, Uber detailed that by matching trucking companies with loads to haul, the free app's mission is to "empower truck drivers and small trucking companies to run and grow their business."
With the push of a few buttons, the app makes it simpler and faster to for drivers find and book freight, eliminating the usual and time consuming hassle of countless phone calls. Read more...
