Landmark buildings around the world and across the United States were bathed in green light after President Donald Trump announced that he is withdrawing the U.S. from a landmark, international climate agreement. 

Cities from Washington, D.C., to Sydney lit their town halls up in green in support of the Paris Agreement — which went into force in 2016 under former president Barack Obama's administration. 

In spite of the fact that Trump plans to withdraw from the Paris agreement, many mayors and officials around the U.S. are still committed to taking action to prevent the worst effects of climate change that will harm their cities.  Read more...
