The trailer also features Michael Shannon, Michael Stuhlbarg, Octavia Spencer, and Richard Jenkins. Shannon's character regards the creature as untameable, other — a monster that defies nature — while Stuhlbarg's marvels at its intelligence and empathy. As Elisa, who is mute, Hawkins connects with this unlikely companion, and must fight to save its life.
