Chris Martin turned a Linkin Park song into a ballad to honor Chester Bennington
On Tuesday night, Coldplay took a moment during their concert to pay respects for Chester Bennington, the lead singer of Linkin Park who was found dead last month.
Chris Martin turned one of Linkin Park's songs off their debut album Hybrid Theory ("Crawling") into a ballad on the piano, and footage was shared online by Linkin Park band members and fans alike.
“I know this is probably going to end up on YouTube so I want to do it right, and I want to do it respectfully," a self-aware Martin said, after a false start according to The Guardian.
