Samsung Gear Sport 2017 leaked ahead of rumored IFA 2017 reveal
After a quick hint at its Samsung Galaxy Note 8 launch that it'll be launching new wearables soon, we now have more information on the tech the South Korean company likely plans to launch next week at IFA 2017.
It looks like Samsung will launch a Gear Sport smartwatch that has a similar design language to both the Gear S3 Classic and Frontier models.
Newly leaked images posted on Twitter by a Korean source show a magazine listing that includes the new wearable with both black and blue bands.
Sporty wristwear
We can't gain much more information from the photo apart from its circular design, the wristband colors and a hint that the word Sport may be included in the name.
Previous leaks and rumors originally pointed to the name Gear S4, but this may not be a major upgrade to the Gear S3 range and could be so much more fitness focused that it launches under the Gear Sport name instead.
The watch has now passed FCC certification too and leaks are now common enough we can hope for a launch at IFA 2017, so it should just be a little under a week until we get to see the new wearable from Samsung.
