'Will and Grace' went all in on Trump and people were here for it
NBC's Will and Grace revival premiered Thursday on NBC, and it was mere seconds before the show got political (in a game of Heads Up, Will says "hostage" for the clue; Grace guesses "Melania!").
A small subset of curious first-time viewers and older fans were put off by the overt politics of the premiere, but most Will and Grace fans saw it coming, and were thrilled — after all, this whole revival business began when the cast reunited last year for a pro-Hillary Clinton campaign issue.
The first episode of Season 9 (!) put both Will and Grace in compromising positions; Will flirting with an environmentally unfriendly congressman and Grace on the fence about redecorating the oval office.
