Kumail Nanjiani opened his first hosting gig on Saturday Night Live with a searing stand-up comedy monologue that, in large part, took aim at the many different flavors of racist in the U.S. and the world.
It's great TV.
For close to eight minutes, Nanjiani pokes at online trolls, Islamophobes, critics of "race-mixing," and ignorant racists, the last of which is really a catch-all that covers all the others. It's one of the funnier SNL opening monologues in recent memory, and hey, it also has some worthwhile things to say, too. Read more...
