Trump allegedly asked for 10 times more nukes before Tillerson called him a 'moron'
We now know one of the reasons Rex Tillerson reportedly called the president a "moron": President Donald Trump reportedly asked the military to multiply its stockpile of nuclear weapons by a factor of about 10 at a meeting this past Summer, according to NBC.
Increasing the United States's nuclear arms would run contrary to what the nation's nuclear policy has been for decades, and would break international treaties designed to reduce the world's number of nuclear weapons.
It is perhaps the worst-kept secret of all time that Trump and Tillerson are about a sideways glance away from trying to strangle each other. Tillerson has reportedly nearly resigned from his post as secretary of state, and Trump seems to go out of his way to undercut anything Tillerson says.
