Google Home now lets you control bluetooth speakers with your voice
Google Home speakers just got a lot more useful for listening to music.
The company has rolled out an update to the Google Home app that lets you connect your Assistant-enabled speaker to any bluetooth speaker.
To set it up, all you have to do is pair a bluetooth speaker to your Google Home in the Google Home app and music and podcasts will automatically play on the connected speaker rather than the speaker onboard the Google Home.
Or, you can take things a step further and connect multiple speakers so Google Assistant commands will play music in multiple rooms at once. (Of note: if you want to talk to Google Assistant you'll still need to use the Google Home.) Read more...
