South Korean Footballer Humiliates Racist Chilean Player With Savage Skills
South Korean football star Son Heung-Min recently lit up social media after he embarrassed a racist Chilean midfielder during their match on Tuesday.
A day before the “friendly” game between South Korea and Chile, Diego Valdes of La Roja, the Chilean national football team, made a racist “slant-eyed gesture” while posing for a picture with a fan.

After the image went viral and caused controversy, Valdes posted an apology on social media, writing:
“In relation to the photograph that has appeared on social media, it was never my intention to offend and I offer my apologies to anyone that could have been offended.”

Instead of responding on social media, forward Son Heung-Min seemingly decided to use his skill to somehow exact revenge at the derogatory gesture.
In the opening minutes of the game, the 26-year-old pulled off one of the most outrageous nutmegs in recent memory at Valdes’ expense.
Son outmaneuvered Valdes by performing the sensational move after an impressive pull back — and the internet can’t get enough of it.

It is worth noting that this is not the first time a South American team was involved in a controversy against a South Korean club.
Colombia’s Edwin Cardona made a similar gesture toward South Korea captain Ki Sung-Yeung in November last year. For his racist act, FIFA penalized Cardona with a five-game ban.
