Pharrell Williams sends Trump legal threat for playing 'Happy' after synagogue shooting
Pharrell Williams wants Donald Trump to stop playing "Happy" at his events.
The president allegedly played the song during a rally in Indiana on Saturday, just mere hours following the synagogue shooting in Pittsburgh.
Williams' attorney, Howard King, sent a cease and desist letter on behalf of the artist, who owns the rights to the song.
"On the day of the mass murder of 11 human beings at the hands of a deranged 'nationalist,' you played his song 'Happy' to a crowd at a political event in Indiana," King writes in the letter. Read more...
