A Tilt-Shift Time-Lapse of Pyongyang, North Korea
Joerg Daiber of LittleBigWorld traveled to Pyongyang, North Korea, and created this 5-minute time-lapse that uses a tilt-shift effect to make the hermit kingdom’s capital city look like a tiny diorama.
Everything was shot using a Panasonic Lumix GH4 and GH5 with 14-140mm and 7-14mm Lumix lenses.
“Pyongyang is by far the weirdest and strangest place I have ever been to,” Daiber says. “At the same time it’s also one of the most interesting and intriguing places and unlike anywhere else I have ever been to. You go there with 100 questions and you return with 1000!”
“Of course, this film is not a political statement at all,” Daiber tells PetaPixel. “I have no support for the government there and I have not been paid to shoot this film. I have merely done what I have been doing for the last few years for my Little Big World project.”
