Tesla's CFO is leaving the company — here are all the key names who have departed in recent months (TSLA)

Tesla is known for its high rate of executive turnover, and the past year has been no different.
During a year in which the automaker faced production issues, investigations from the federal government, and questions about the decision-making of CEO Elon Musk, departures from senior employees have added yet another challenge.
Tesla announced on Wednesday that its CFO, Deepak Ahuja, would retire from the company in the coming months.

Tesla has seen a lot of senior employees leave in the last year.

As the automaker faced production issues, investigations from the federal government, and questions about the decision-making of CEO Elon Musk, departures from senior employees added yet another challenge.

The outflow hasn't stopped in the new year, either.

Tesla announced on Wednesday that its CFO, Deepak Ahuja, would retire from the company in the coming months. Ahuja had previously left the company in 2015 before returning in 2017.

Zach Kirkhorn, Tesla's vice president of finance, will replace Ahuja. Kirkhorn has worked for Tesla for nine years.
