Today every sane person knows that it takes Earth 365 days to make a full revolution around the Sun. What if I told you that Indian astronomers somehow already figured it out between 700 BC and 600 AD? The exact number they got was 365.2563627 days, which is only 1.4 seconds off, according to our modern calculations.

 

First ever dentists (7000 BC)
Nobody likes when their teeth are in bad condition, but up until 7000 BC, nobody seemed to know what to do with that pain. That’s when some dude from the Indus Valley Civilization came up with using bow drills to make the pain go away.
