Democratic presidential hopeful and founder of #YangGang Andrew Yang officially became the coolest Asian dad in the world after crowd surfing at a campaign event in Costa Mesa, California on Sunday.

The 44-year-old entrepreneur turned presidential candidate was speaking at the Asian American and Pacific Islander Democratic Presidential Forum when he said, “One of my goals for this campaign was to crowd surf. I think this may be the time,” before jumping into the crowd.

The amazing moment, more closely resembling a rock concert rather than a forum, was captured on camera and viewed over 1.2 million times on Twitter.

According to the Real Clear Politics polls, Yang is now receiving 2.7 percent support, placing him ahead of his opponents Cory Booker and Beto O’Rourke.
