American ‘Neo-Nazi’ Pleads Guilty to Threatening to Wipe Out Hispanics
An Asian man who threatened to kill a Hispanic woman in South Florida last year pleaded guilty to one count of interstate transmission of threatening communications this week.
Eric Lin, 35, of Clarksburg, Maryland sent threatening messages between May 30, 2019 and Aug. 14, 2019 through Facebook, vowing to assault and eliminate the woman — as well as all other Hispanics in Miami.
“I will stop at nothing until you, your family, your friends, your entire WORTHLESS LATIN RACE IS RACIALLY EXTERMINATED!” Lin, who used the aliases “Jake Howard” and “Eric A Schopenhauer,” sent the woman on June 11, 2019.
In another message on Aug. 8, 2019, he wrote: “The time will come when Miami will burn to the ground — and every Latin man will be lined up against a wall and shot and every Latin woman raped or cut to pieces.”
Lin told the woman that he was acting under the authority of Adolf Hitler and God to “DECLARE SPANISH AND ALL SPANISH SPEAKING PEOPLE ILLEGAL.”
He also thanked Donald Trump, whom he believes will launch a racial war that will keep several minorities “in line.”
“I thank God everyday President Donald John Trump is president and that he will launch a racial war and crusade to keep the n*****s, s***s and Muslims and any dangerous non-White or ethnically or culturally foreign group ‘in line.’ By ‘in line’ it is meant they will either be sent to ‘concentration camps’ or dealt with ruthlessly and vigorously by the United States military,” Lin wrote on July 19, 2019.
The woman printed out more than 150 pages of messages and sent them to the FBI. There, she named Lin — who used to visit the restaurant where she worked — as a possible perpetrator.
“She believed the messages came from Eric Lin because Eric Lin’s statements at the restaurant were similar in content to the Facebook messages sent by the (Howard and Schopenhauer) accounts to the victim,” Lin’s admission stated, according to the Miami Herald.
“In particular, both his statements in the restaurant and the messages from the Target Accounts discussed mass shootings and idolization of Adolf Hitler.”
Lin was arrested in Seattle on Aug. 16, 2019 after planning to send $10,000 to a man named Chris, whom he had hired to go to Miami to “beat up this s**c who insulted me.”
“You don’t need to kill her, [just] hurt her, so at most you will be charged with kidnapping,” Lin told Chris on July 12, 2019. “Nothing will happen to you if you get the right lawyers. She’s a s**c who hates White Americans. I doubt the FBI would care much about her. I don’t care if I have to pay you $1 million or more I want this done.”
Lin pleaded guilty before U.S. District Judge Federico A. Moreno on Tuesday. He is facing a maximum statutory term of five years in prison and three years of supervised release.
Moreno will sentence Lin on March 30. Until then, he will remain locked up at a federal prison in downtown Miami.
