Jimmy Fallon's kids create adorable chaos and Lin-Manuel Miranda performs on the DIY 'Tonight Show'
Can Jimmy Fallon do his shows from home even after the coronavirus pandemic ends, please? The Roots can write a new album and we can keep his new (literal) house band, The Franny and Winnie Fallon Bang-On-A-Cup Experience.
Day 2 of Fallon's Tonight Show: Home Edition features a lot more of his two young daughters than Day 1, with the host trying to deliver a monologue off an A4 page while being used as a human jungle gym. (Seems like six days is all it takes to get bored with having a literal slide inside your house.)
His first guest is Lin-Manuel Miranda, chatting via Zoom from in front of his piano and a shelf full of awards ("and some Masters Of The Universe toys!"). They swap home schooling tips, show off their kids' art, and then Miranda performs Hamilton favourite "Dear Theodosia" from his workroom. They're also raising money for Broadway Cares, which is especially important now that so many theatre professionals will be out of work for the foreseeable future. Read more...
