K-Pop Stans Reportedly Troll Trump Campaign Rally With Fake Ticket Reservations
K-pop stans and TikTok users are being hailed as heroes for their reported hand in the not so impressive turnout in Donald Trump’s campaign rally in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
According to the New York Times, Trump was “furious” at the low number of supporters in attendance on Saturday night.
The 19,000-seat capacity BOK Center arena appeared somewhat empty in some areas as only 6,200 attendees occupied the general admission sections, NBC reports.
Ahead of the event, Trump’s campaign was reportedly projecting huge turnout numbers as over a million people had tried to reserve tickets for the event online.
Expecting an overflow of supporters, organizers even built a second outdoor stage nearby which eventually went unused.

Now, K-pop stans and TikTok users are claiming they pulled this off by trolling the online ordering system with fake orders.
New York Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez pointed this out to Trump campaign manager Brad Parscale via a Twitter exchange.
Actually you just got ROCKED by teens on TikTok who flooded the Trump campaign w/ fake ticket reservations & tricked you into believing a million people wanted your white supremacist open mic enough to pack an arena during COVID
Shout out to Zoomers. Y’all make me so proud. ☺️ https://t.co/jGrp5bSZ9T

MSNBC host Joy-Ann Reid tweeted how the rally suffered “anemic numbers” due to these K-pop fans.
So there is a good deal of Twitter chatter that part of why the crowd outside and inside the Tulsa Trump rally is that KPOp fans requested masses of tickets to plus up Trump’s expectations with no intention of showing up. Either way, anemic nunbers for Trump in a deep red state. https://t.co/anxmdy5Dbq

K-pop stans have recently been flexing their social media prowess from flooding a Dallas police watch app to protect protesters, to taking over White supremacist hashtags, to fundraising in support of Black Lives Matter, to fighting dangerous legislation in the Philippines.
