Seth Meyers incredulously roasts the idea of Trump joining Mount Rushmore
The U.S. now has almost 5 million confirmed cases of COVID-19, and over 160,000 deaths — the worst coronavirus death toll of any country in the world. Meanwhile, President Donald Trump's White House reportedly tried to find out how another president could be added to Mount Rushmore. In retrospect, it's only surprising they didn't ask sooner.
"That's like going up to a priest after Mass and asking him, 'So what's the process for adding someone to the Trinity?'" quipped Late Night host Seth Meyers on Monday. "'What if it was like, the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit, and the Dan?'"
Trump denied making this request of course, but also tweeted that it "sounds like a good idea to [him]." Read more...
