LinkedIn isn't just a place to share resumes and work experience. The service continues to add regular social media features, and Stories is a recent example.
Modeled after Instagram Stories, it's a way to combine photos, videos, text, and stickers into a casual post that disappears after 24 hours. But before you feel safe posting just anything as a story, remember that any LinkedIn user can take a screenshot of your story, essentially making a permanent record of it.
What you need to know about LinkedIn Stories notifying you of screenshots
Will you be notified if someone takes a screenshot of your LinkedIn story? Unfortunately, no. LinkedIn does not notify you if another user takes a screenshot of your LinkedIn story.
This is similar to the way Twitter deals with screenshots of its new Stories-like feature, fleets. That is to say, Twitter does nothing as well, not notifying the owner if a fleet is captured. The same is true of Instagram, which doesn't notify owners if someone screenshots a Story. There's a little more to the Instagram story though (if you'll excuse the pun). Among the main social media services, only Snapchat prioritizes your privacy when it comes to screenshots, fully informing anyone who has had their content captured.
