There's something about seeing a KitchenAid mixer on a counter that makes you think, "Yeah, this person has their shit together." Maybe it's the glossy look, or maybe it's the implication that its owner is a person who will show up to a party with the best homemade baked goods you've ever had.
Or maybe, it's that these mixers are a bit of an investment — usually.
As of Nov. 5, a KitchenAid mixer and several attachments are on sale for one day only at Amazon, thanks to their Deal of the Day status. However, we did also manage to find a few more deals on KitchenAid attachments that are not as tightly time constrained (though we do anticipate them being available for a limited time only).
Whether you've never owned a mixer in your life or have been waiting patiently for the moment when you can step up from your hand mixer, we highly recommend you check these sales out. If not for your own pure love of KitchenAid, then for maybe getting some early gift shopping done and avoiding later Black Friday shopping stress.
To get you started, we've highlighted some of our favorite finds from the sales below.
KitchenAid Artisan Mini Plus 3.5-Qt. Tilt-Head Stand Mixer — $279.99
Why we like it
This stand mixer takes what you already know and love about the classic KitchenAid stand mixer — the ten different speed settings, different hook and beater attachments, a design that's both cute and durable — and makes it just a little bit mini-er. But even though you're down to 3.5 quarts of bowl space, you still have the room to make roughly five dozen smaller cookies, all in one batch. You still get a good bake, and you save some counter space.
KitchenAid Sifter and Scale Attachment — $79.99
Why we like it
If you don't get the appeal of this attachment, tell me you've never had to sift powdered sugar into a homemade frosting without telling me you've never had to sift powdered sugar into a homemade frosting. This sifter is automatic, meaning that using it will not give you the hand workout of your life. Plus, the scale makes getting those measurements exactly right nice and easy, which is pretty essential when it comes to baking. Even better, this attachment will incorporate your ingredients slowly and steadily for you, so you won't ever have to reach the point where you and your kitchen are covered in sugar and you just decide to dump the rest, consequences be damned (what, just me?)
KitchenAid Blade Spiralizer Plus — $79.99
Why we like it
Eating zoodles as a way to incorporate more vegetables into your diet seems like a great idea until you realize making "pasta" is a much more involved process when you have to spiralize all the pasta. Thankfully, there's another automatic KitchenAid attachment that's up to the task. Not only can it spiralize a bunch of different veggies, but it can also core and slice (huge news for baking season), and even peel your potatoes for you (the peeling blade is one of six that comes with this attachment). Consider your time saved.
KitchenAid Metal Food Grinder Attachment — $69.99
If you're a big burger and sausage fan, this is likely the attachment that made your heart skip a beat. Choose whether you want to use the coarse, medium, or fine grinding plate, attach it to your stand mixer, and sit back as you watch the ground meat magic happen. And yes, there are two sausage stuffer tubes included. This attachment might not be your jam if you don't really eat meat, but for what it's worth, it can also easily grind up some breadcrumbs or hard cheeses.
KitchenAid Food Processor — $99.99
Why we like it
OK, if you already own a food processor, this might not be the attachment for you. If, however, you do not and you have a stand mixer, this is a space saver and functional food processor all in one. The three different discs allow you to cut down on prep time, as you can shred, slice, and even julienne your way through different fruits, veggies, and cheeses.
