Save $10 on the Nintendo Switch Lite with your Amazon Prime membership
SAVE $10 WITH PRIME: Amazon Prime members can get a Nintendo Switch Lite on sale for just $189.99 (normally $199.99) through Woot as of March 2. That's a rare discount of about 5%.
It kind of feels like we say this every year, but 2022 really is panning out to be huge for Nintendo Switch games. Pokémon Legends: Arceus is a certified hit, Majora's Mask just got added to the Switch Online + Expansion Pack, and two more Pokémon games, Kirby and the Forgotten Land, a Wii Sports sequel, Mario Strikers: Battle League, the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe DLC, plus Breath of the Wild 2 (fingers crossed) are all waiting in the wings.
Also, and I cannot stress this enough, we only just started March.
Anyway, now feels like a great time to hop on the Switch train if you haven't already yet. As of March 2, Woot has a limited-time deal where Amazon Prime members can save $10 on the Nintendo Switch Lite, which brings its price down to $189.99. (Just make sure you log into the site using the "Login with Amazon" button when prompted.) The Switch hardly ever goes on sale, so this is a rare treat.
Released in 2019, the Switch Lite is the smallest and most portable take on the Switch console. (The regular one has detachable Joy-Cons that make it possible to play in tabletop/TV mode, while the Lite is handheld-only.) It is missing out on some of the standard Switch's features — namely, its built-in kickstand, motion controls, and rumble/haptic feedback — but these "ultimately [impact] very few games," said Mashable senior games reporter Adam Rosenberg, who recommended the Lite for first-time Switch buyers. (Click here to read his full review.)
All colors of the Switch Lite were in stock at Woot at the time of writing, but keep in mind that its deal is only available through the end of the day or while supplies last — and some of them may not last long.
