The trailer for The Essex Serpent, one of our most anticipated British shows of the year, is finally here — and it's bringing some serious Fleabag-style hot priest energy.
Starring Tom Hiddleston and Claire Danes and adapted from Sarah Perry's award-winning gothic fiction novel of the same name, Clio Barnard's adaptation follows the ambiguous search for a mythical sea beast in a Victorian English village.
Expect tension, lingering looks, and ambiguous fantasy aplenty.
The Essex Serpent is available to stream on Apple TV+ from May 13, with new episodes dropping weekly.
