- Coursera Plus is $100 off now through September 29. It's the deepest discount we've seen.
- The subscription (now $299) is a year-long access pass to over 90% of the site's online courses.
- Paid Coursera courses come with certificates you can put on your LinkedIn profile or resume.
Coursera, the e-learning platform founded by Stanford grads in 2012, is discounting its annual subscription, Coursera Plus, by $100 now through September 29.
Originally $399, an annual Coursera Plus membership gives members access to over 7,000 courses — over 90% of the site's catalog, according to the company.
You can learn more about the subscription plan here, but the gist is this: if you're planning on taking multiple courses — and want certificates of completion to add to your LinkedIn profile — Coursera Plus may be a great deal even without this promotion.
Since the deal covers most of the website, you'll find some classics included in Coursera Plus: courses from prestigious universities such as Princeton, Yale, and the University of Pennsylvania, as well as top companies such as Google. You'll be able to complete specializations (longer certificate programs) and earn professional certificates in everything from data science to business.
One thing to note: Coursera Plus does not include degrees or MasterTrack certificates, and some professional certificates are excluded, like those offered by Amazon Web Services and IBM.
You can browse some of the courses covered by the Coursera Plus membership here, and, once you're a member, you'll see a "Coursera Plus" badge on all the classes included in your subscription.
If your goals include making a career change, this may be one of the best deals you'll find.
