There are a ridiculous amount of great games coming out soon. At the end of this week, Star Wars fans will be eating good with the debut of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. In just a couple of weeks, we'll be getting The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom on Nintendo Switch. But if you don't plan on paying full price for either of those titles and want to tackle your backlog, consider picking up God of War Ragnarok for PS5.
You can get this critically-acclaimed follow-up to 2018's God of War reboot on sale at Super for just $39.99. That's $30 off its regular price of $69.99. That's a great price, and the lowest it's been since it went on sale for $65 at Amazon.
This sequel follows the journey of former God of War and new sad dad Kratos as he and son Atreus explore a world rooted in Norse mythology. It's set three years after the previous game and is set in the middle of Fimbulwinter, an enduring and severe cold, one of the first signs of Ragnarok, the Norse event that is foretold to occur after what went down in the previous game.
It's a lengthy adventure and many consider it to be one of Sony Santa Monica's best. You've still got some time left to enjoy it before the new wave of games gets here, and it's well worth a pick-up at this price.
