Aspiring Filipino Model Gets $10 Nose Job to Save Money, Regrets it For Life

A Filipino aspiring model’s dream of landing more modeling gigs came to a devastating turn after a $10 nose and chin job disfigured his face. He is now seeking help in bringing the unfortunate incident into justice.

Ellowe Alviso has used his original “charming” face as his source of income when he began doing modeling stints a few years back. Intending to get more projects, he opted to improve his looks, reported Abs-Cbn.
Taking advantage of a cheap offer by a supposed beautician, he signed himself up for some cosmetic alterations done on his nose and chin.

Alviso told local radio program dzMM that he has filed charges against transgender woman Euge Edward Udangan for allegedly destroying his face.

The amount of 500 Philippine pesos ($10.71) covered what supposedly was an injection of a collagen solution that Udangan claimed to have administered into his nose. Doctors would later tell him that the solution injected into his face was a mix of wax, petroleum jelly, and sealant.

The nose and chin job initially proved a success for Alviso who said he got more gigs immediately after the session with the beautician. Two years later, however, he noticed something wrong when his nose and chin showed signs of deformation. He eventually ended up with a disfigured face and his modeling dreams then came crashing down.

When he approached Udangan to seek assistance in shouldering half of his hospital expenses, Udangan allegedly threatened to kill Alviso.
”She cursed me and threatened to have me killed for destroying her reputation,” Alviso said (translated from Filipino).
