Bill Murray will be tending bar in Brooklyn this weekend
Many actors exaggerate on their resumes. And were it not for a family connection, Bill Murray may have embellished his bartending experience to book his latest gig.
21 Greenpoint, a new bar in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, locked down the actor and amateur mixologist as guest bartender for its opening weekend this Friday and Saturday.
The restaurant and bar, formerly River Styx, is owned by Syd Silver and Homer Murray, Bill Murray's son.
Homer spoke to Eater about his dad's upcoming stint.
"We want people to come and have fun," Homer said. "People can walk in; just be nice. What my dad lacks in experience, he makes up for in tequila." Read more...
