Lady Gaga's announces new album 'Joanne,' shares release date

If your name happens to be Joanne, be prepared to have it screamed across the globe. 

Lady Gaga's next album will be named Joanne — likely a tribute to her aunt who died in 1974. The title seems to imply that the forthcoming record will be deeply personal. Though they never met, Gaga feels a deep spiritual connection to her and has mentioned before she believes she could be Joanne's reincarnation ("Joanne" is also Gaga's middle name). 

The record will drop Oct. 21. 

Gaga announced the news on Zane Lowe's Beats1 radio show, Gaga says her fifth album will be finished in the next 48 hours, and it definitely won't be an exclusive when it finally arrives. Read more...
