12-Year-Old Girl Shows Up Pregnant to the Hospital With Her 40-Year-Old ‘Husband’

A little girl in Xuzhou, China shocked hospital staff when she came in with a bulging tummy and visible stretch marks.

She was accompanied by her 40-year-old “husband” and a woman who claimed to be her “mother-in-law,” The Sun reported. They said she was in the third month of her pregnancy and needed to get checked.

The two adults passed off the girl as a 20-year-old woman, but this didn’t convince the staff. One was confident:

“She is certainly not anywhere near 20 years old.”

The duo said she was brought to the hospital for a routine check-up, and when asked for information, the man was quoted as saying:

“I took her here to be examined — just do your job. Stop asking so many questions.”

Cops were immediately called. They figured that the girl — who did not speak Mandarin — was not from China. She did not have any form of identification.

It was speculated that she came from another country in Southeast Asia. Police suspected that she might be abducted or bought for marriage.

If so, the case looks like just another form of human trafficking, where we can expect some scornful bashing.
