An anime enthusiast delivered an impressive cover of the Dragon Ball Z opening theme during his blind audition for the fifth season of “The Voice Thailand” on Sunday.

Ditthawat Chaikaewruchikorn’s electrifying rendition of the song “Cha-La Head-Cha-La” got an enthusiastic response from both the studio audience and the show’s four judges who all turned their chairs around, reported Geek. The YouTube video featuring his performance has racked up 4 million views in nearly four days.

The 35-year-old Thai contestant even concluded his piece by acting out Goku’s signature power attack “Kamehameha” to the delight of the audience.

Judge Saharat Sangkhapricha was the first one to press the buzzer just a few seconds into the performance. Judges Namchok Natanrom, Thanida Dhammawimol and Joey Boy soon followed to watch the entirety of the song.

Judge Natanrom even requested that the contestant do an impromptu anime song from Doraemon. He then belted out “Doraemon no Uta,” with the judge and some of the audience members singing along.

Chaikaewruchikorn also performed another Japanese anime song after the judges egged him on. Singing Make-Up’s “Pegasus Fantasy,” from the 1986 anime series “Saint Saya,” the singer willingly proved he’s got more under his repertoire.

Chaikaewruchikorn eventually chose Joey Boy to be his mentor in the competition.
