This Pediatric Nurse Loves Down Syndrome Kids – This Warmed My heart!

Desiree White has forever had a tender feeling for kids with trisomy 21.  She has had great experiences with them. White says that she has been a pediatric trauma nurse for an extended period and has had extraordinary encounters with the families. White resolute to adopting one child with Down syndrome, she then contacted Bethany Christian Service adoption agency with an exceptional appeal. Kids with special needs are deemed unadoptable. White says it can be scary for a family to undertake the child’s medical needs. The agency paired her with a little boy in China. When she went to meet him, a slap greeted her. She says the kid has never seen a white person. Isaac being the first Chinese Down Syndrome child to be legally adopted, he opened the doors of adoption to American families.
