When Derek Carr’s wife, Heather, gave birth to their son, Dallas, in 2013, they didn’t expect things to quickly go south. After birth, the little kid started throwing up. It was a critical moment as the dad rushed to find the nurse. The nurse was shocked too, but they had to do something! Apparently, Dallas’ intestines were twisted, cutting off his blood supply, and the only thing that could save him was immediate surgery. They had to do it! The boy was fine and even went home with his parents, but things turned ugly again just 2 weeks after. The poor little being had to undergo another surgery. At the valley Children’s Hospital, the nurses and doctors are the best. They would check in on the kid until he recovered. The family is now home with their child and hoping for the best.
