'Game of Thrones' ending is already online, according to one star
Now that Game of Thrones has overtaken George R. R. Martin's published books, HBO has gone into lockdown mode to protect the show's secrets from overzealous fans — and from its occasionally clumsy cast members, who have been known to accidentally spill plot details on social media.
Gone are the days when an actor can just innocently post a script page to Instagram, according to Nathalie Emmanuel, thanks to the show's new security protocols.
“They’ve definitely tightened up who has scripts and how we’re given them,” Emmanuel told the UK's Fabulous magazine.“You have to look at it digitally. They won’t send it to us unless our emails have a two-step verification [security process]. You might get given rehearsal notes on set, but you have to sign for and return them before you leave.
