Teacher gives students some pretty unique homework to prepare for their SATs
Now this is homework we wouldn't mind doing.
The days leading up to the SATs are usually spent by students pouring over notes every minute they can. However, for one middle school, their weekend homework had absolutely nothing to do with studying.
John Newport, the Headmaster at Marden Bridge Middle School, sent a letter home with the students taking the test in which he encouraged them to spend their weekend doing things that had nothing to do with studying, like "seeing friends" or "going for a swim."
Eliza Lawson, a parent of one of the students, posted the letter to Facebook in which she praised the school and the headteacher for their dedication to the students. Read more...
