YouTube signs exclusive deals with Ellen Degeneres, Demi Lovato, Kevin Hart and more

YouTube is already home to some of the biggest celebrities in the world, but now they're flocking over from other parts of the entertainment industry. At their 2017 Brandcast, YouTube announced new original programming in partnership with Ellen Degeneres, Kevin Hart, Demi Lovato, Katy Perry, and more.

"YouTube is not TV. And we never will be," said Susan Wojcicki, the company's C.E.O. "The platform that you all helped create represents something bigger. Together with our creators, you built one of the most dynamic, creative and inspiring communities in history: millions of voices, creating hundreds of millions of videos, all being watched by over a billion people."
