It also features a backlit keyboard and an infrared camera for facial recognition. It also happens to be on sale at Dell until 11 May. Get it for $1,438.99 and you save 20% (or $360) on the retail price of $1,798.99.
  • Dell Inspiron 15 7000 2-in-1 ($1,724): If 13 inches of screen real estate on a 2-in-1 isn’t enough for you, the 15-inch option from Dell is the Inspiron 15 7000 2-in-1, featuring a 7th-generation Intel Core i7 CPU, 16GB RAM and 512GB SSD. It also sports an infrared camera for facial recognition and a Full HD display. And, until Thursday, 11 May, you can get 25% off on this device – on sale now at Dell for $1,724. That’s a saving of $575 on the RRP of $2,299.

  • Harman Kardon Onyx Studio 3 wireless speaker ($247): Got music you’d like to listen to from your friend’s smart device? This Harman Kardon Bluetooth speaker lets you connect up to three devices and allows you to take turns in playing music from different playlists. Plus, its noise- and echo-cancelling technology promises clear sound while taking calls. It comes with a premium price tag of $349, but you can get it for $247 at JB Hi-Fi and save yourself $102 in the bargain.
  • JBL Flip 3 Bluetooth speaker ($99): Don’t want to spend too much money on a wireless speaker? Then the JBL Flip 3 is a pretty good alternative. It’s small, it’s splashproof and you can connect it to other JBL speakers to build your own sound system via JBL Connect. It also boasts up to 10 hours of battery life and great sound quality. It also happens to be on sale at JB Hi-Fi for just $99, down from its usual RRP of $149, saving you $50.

  • Fitbit Blaze smartwatch ($198): Fitbit has become a household name when it comes to fitness trackers, but this is the company’s first smartwatch. It does everything a great fitness tracker should and then some. It features a colour LCD display, up to five days of battery life and is compatible with most popular fitness apps. It usually retails for $288, but you can save $90 at JB Hi-Fi with the smart fitness watch being on sale for $198.

  • SodaStream Source Power drink machine ($199): Can’t get enough of sparkling water or your favourite fizzy drink? Save money by not buying them at the store, but making them whenever you need to with this SodaStream Source Power sparkling water maker. You can choose from three levels of carbonation and its sleek design allows it to fit in anywhere with any decor. It retails for $249 a piece, but you can get it for $199 at JB Hi-Fi, saving yourself $50.
  • Nutri Ninja with Auto-iQ ($129): The blades of this 1,000w blender will go through anything – from seeds to ice – and make you a healthy smoothie to keep you in shape all year round. Plus it comes with three different sized cups. Better yet, it’s nearly half price at JB Hi-Fi at the moment – get it for $129, not the usual $249, saving yourself $120 in the bargain.
  • Breville The Infuser coffee machine: Enjoy your coffee the way you like it with this amazingly named machine. It features low pressure pre-infusion which gradually expands the coffee grinds before the burst of high pressure steam with 1700W of power. It’s also on sale at JB Hi-Fi for $499. That’s a savings of $100 on the RRP of $599.

  • Sennheiser HD 4.30i on-ear headphones ($139): Sennheiser has been in the audio business long enough to have gathered a faithful following and most of their products are top notch. The Sennheiser HD 4.30i headsets (for both Apple and Android phones) promise to be comfortable without compromising on sound quality. They retail at $179 apiece, but Mwave can save you $40 as the headsets are now on sale for $139. You can get them in black for Android, white for Apple or black for Apple.
  • Bose QuietComfort 25 noise-cancelling over-ear headphones ($319.20): With exemplary sound quality and equally excellent ambient noise cancellation, the QC25s will suit the serious or the casual listener, providing a wonderfully immersive experience when watching movies or TV shows, playing games or just listening to tunes. It also carries a premium price tag of $399, but get it from the Microsoft Store for $319.20 and save nearly $80.
  • Beats Solo 2 wireless on-ear headphones ($299.95): Great sound and chic style come together in this set of headphones from Beats Electronics. It’s comfortable and will leave you foot-tapping while you listen to your favourite tunes. Microsoft is offering a saving of nearly $100 on these premium headphones, so get the grey set now for $299.25, down from $399. The black or the red models are also available.
  • Beats Studio wired over-ear headphones ($299.95): Stylish and portable, the Beats Studio wireless over-ear headphones are a good pair of cans, but they are expensive at nearly $400 a pop. You now have the opportunity to save nearly $100 on these headphones and get it directly from the Microsoft Store for $299.95, down from $399.
  • Beats Powerbeats2 wireless in-ear headphones ($194.25): Don’t want massive cans sitting on your head wherever you go? Then Beats will please users looking for a flashy set of in-ear headphones that provide booming sound and a handful of features. These are great gym buddies for the fitness fanatics, being sweat resistant and comfortable. There’s $64.75 to be saved on these headphones, with the Microsoft Store selling them for $194.25.

  • ViewSonic PJD5255 projector ($599): If you’re a fan of 3D movies and have a Blu-ray collection, this affordable XGA DLP projector has 3D capabilities and can connect via HDMI to laptops, PCs, tablets or media players. Plus there’s a choice of five view settings and an easy-to-use interface. It also happens to carry a typical price tag of about $715, but you can save nearly $115 by getting it from Mwave for $599.
  • Beats Pill 2.0 wireless speaker ($194.25): It’s small, it’s light and most definitely portable, plus you can take your calls along with your music wherever you go. The Beats Pill 2.0 Bluetooth speaker crams Beats Electronics’ thumping sounds in a small package, but usually with a price tag of $259. However, the Microsoft Store is giving you the opportunity to save $64.75 on this little gadget by marking it down to just $194.25.

  • DJI drones (free USB hard drive): Aerial photography is fast becoming a common feature in every pro or enthusiast photographer’s profile, with drones almost a must-have in the arsenal. But drones don’t come cheap and neither do external hard drives to save all your images. However, Kogan is currently offering a free 2TB WD My Passport hard drive worth $368 with every purchase of a DJI drone. There’s the Mavic Pro, Phantom 4 Pro and the Phantom 4 Pro Plus to choose from, with prices starting at $1,699. And there’s free shipping to boot.
  • WD My Passport Ultra portable external hard drives (from $79): This one is not just for photographers but for anyone who’s computer is overloaded with files, or just wants to make their media collection a bit more portable. Get yourself a 1TB or 2TB My Passport Ultra portable external hard drive from WD and you can carry all your data wherever you go. Kogan has them on sale at the moment for $79 and $119 a piece respectively, saving you up to $60. They’re available in black, white, dark blue and pretty cool berry red.
  • WD Elements 4TB desktop external hard drive ($229): Need more than just a measly 1TB or 2TB of storage? You can get a whopping 4TB WD Elements external hard drive from Kogan for $179, although not that this is a physically larger desktop-sized hard drive so it’s not as portable as the My Passport models above. This Elements model is down from $229, saving you $50 (or 22%) on the RRP.

  • Fitbit Flex 2 ($74): It’s the tracker that started it all, now in its latest incarnation. Keep tabs on the number of steps you take each day, track your sleep and jump into the pool with this sleek band on your wrist.   • Lenovo IdeaPad 700 ($1,499): Want more screen real estate? Then the larger and more powerful 17-inch IdeaPad 700 could be what you’re looking for.   • Samsung Galaxy Note 5 ($797): With the recall of the exploding Galaxy Note 7s, the Note 5 has come under the spotlight again and, despite being over a year old, it still puts the ‘phab’ into phablet.   • Sony Blu-ray players (from $94): Streaming services like Netflix could possibly make DVDs and Blu-rays go obsolete at some point in the near (or far) future, but until then, it’s time to enjoy your favourite flicks on one of Sony’s Blu-ray players. For just $94, you can get a basic player with no frills, but spend just a teeny bit more and you can net yourself one with 4K upscaling or one with built-in Wi-Fi and 3D capabilities. There’s up to $71 that can be saved on one these Blu-ray players.
  • Bose SoundLink Mini II Bluetooth speaker ($199): The SoundLink Mini II from Bose might be getting on in age (given it’s been around since 2015), but we think it’s still one of the best sounding Bluetooth speakers available today. And it retails for about $250 a pop, but you can save 20% if you head to eBay and grab one from Instyle Hi Fi. Simply plug in the Orbi router to your service gateway or modem, place the accompanying satellite unit in the centre of your home and, voila, seamless connectivity is yours. It costs $749 at the major retailers, but it’s on offer for $640 on eBay, plus you can get a further 20% off if you use the code CMUM20 at checkout. Meaning you can get this for $512.   • Swann SWDVK-4720P4 4-channel 720p security system ($399): Protecting your home and family or your business is important. With this four-camera system from Swann, you can record surveillance videos in 720p high definition on a 500GB hard drive day or night. You can also save yourself some cash on this system by getting it from JB Hi-Fi for $399, down from $499.

  • Dell Latitude 5480 laptop ($1,991): This 14-inch device was designed for better security and higher productivity – perfect for business. Running Windows 10, this laptop is powered by a 7th-gen Intel Core i7 CPU, comes with 8GB of memory and a 1TB hard drive. It also usually carries a premium price tag of $3,198, but there’s a massive saving of $1,207 to be had until 4 May, with it selling for $1,991 via the Dell website.
  • Dell Latitude 7480 laptop ($2,825): Dell’s other Latitude machine also comes with a Core i7 CPU and an 8GB RAM, but it features a 256GB SSD and a 14-inch Full HD display. It, too, usually comes with a hefty price tag of $4,818, but until 4 May you can save $1,993 on this machine by getting it for $2,825.
  • Dell XPS 15 laptop ($3,199): Dell labels its premium 15-inch XPS laptop as a powerhouse, promising great performance with an InfinityEdge display for sharp images. Powered by a 7th-generation Intel Core i7 CPU, this Windows machine features 32GB of memory, a 1TB SSD and a 4GB Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 video card. This mean machine retails at $3,799, but it’s on sale for $3,199, saving you $600 on the RRP. This offer ends 4 May.
  • Lenovo IdeaPad Miix 700 12” tablet ($792): Although the Miix 700 isn’t the latest in Lenovo’s range, the price has come down considerably since launch and it still holds its own amongst the competition, check out our four-star review here.   • Samsung Galaxy TabPRO S: A couple of weeks ago, Kogan had the Samsung Galaxy TabPro S on sale for just $749. But if you missed out on that great bargain, don’t fret, as it’s still available at the same price, but perhaps for a limited time only. We don’t have an end date for this deal, but if you’d like the 12-inch, Windows 10-running tablet with 128GB of storage, jump in now and save a whopping $650 on the black model that features an AMOLED display. A white 128GB version is also available for $799.
  • Samsung Tab A 10.1: But if the Galaxy TabPRO S is too much for your needs and you’d like something simpler that can keep you entertained while on the move, you could conside the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1.   • Samsung 40-inch J5100A HD TV: Want a new TV but don’t have the space for a massive screen? The 40-inch LED TV from Samsung features a Full HD 1080p display which could brighten up not only your favourite movies and TV shows, but could be just as great for some gameplay. And you can get it for a budget price of just $579 from Myer’s eBay store. It retails for $899, so you save $320 (or 35%).
  • Samsung 50-inch KU6000 4K UHD smart TV: If you’ve got the space and some extra cash lying around, you could go a step further and invest in a larger 50-inch smart TV from Samsung and make every day a blockbuster day by being entertained in Ultra HD quality.   • Sony Bravia 55-inch W650D HD smart TV: But most folk today want bigger and better TVs, ideally without cleaning out the bank.
