Three new peripherals from MSI for gaming PCs
Computex 2017, the most important show of the year for the computing products saw the launch of a slew of new PCs, gaming laptops, and convertibles. Taiwanese company MSI showcased several gaming devices this week and launched GT75VR Titan gaming laptop that comes with a mechanical keyboard. The company revealed the latest ‘Raider’ gaming laptops, the GE63VR and GE73VR, and sneaked in new Stealth Pro gaming notebooks.
Alongside the major launches at Computex, MSI also showcased a few new PC peripherals.
The new gaming gears, set to launch in sometime this month, include the Vigor GK80 mechanical keyboard, Clutch GM70 mouse and the Immerse GH70 Gaming Headset. The components sport a spectacular design with a mandatory RGB LED backlighting system.
Vigor GK80 gaming keyboard
The Vigor GK80 is a mechanical keyboard from MSI which comes with a detachable palm rest and comes with along with Cherry MX Red switches. The keyboard looks premium, the key caps are customisable and the best part is that it’s comfortable to use. The media buttons are at the top right of the board. RGB backlighting system helps the keys to blink for you to keep your eyes on the right keys. The keyboard also comes with a software to control Macro-key functions and lighting effect. The Vigor GK80 keyboard won’t require a software for you to use different modes.
Clutch GM70 Gaming Mouse
The new mouse has an optical sensor with a resolution of 18,000 dpi and RGB LED backlight with support for Mystic Light Sync. The modular mouse gets some makeover especially the detachable cover and side grip that can be swapped with options to tailor-fit. The addition of an RGB strip along the front of the mouse makes it look personalized. The new mouse can operate in both wireless and wired mode and so you can switch between the modes without interrupting your game.
Immerse GH70 Gaming Headset
The Immerse GH70 gaming headset features Hi-Res drivers with Virtual 7.1 surround sound and color effects through MSI Mystic Light Sync. The Clutch GM70 combined with 18,000 DPI optical sensor and full RGB Mystic Light, can be used both wired and wireless by simply disconnecting the cable on the mouse. The earpads are replaceable too.
MSI also unleased a new range of X299 motherboards and revealed a new desktop CPU cooler - Core Frozr XL.
Availability and pricing for all three devices are yet to be announced. However, the mouse and headset should cost around $110 each while the keyboard might cost around $160.
